Taco Bell Is Having It’s Bell Rung To A New Tune
Doesn’t make sense to spend millions trying to lure the usual quick service or drive through Taco Bell customers they have that demographic covered.
They decided to design a new concept that would appeal to a demographic, which includes an eclectic mix of generally higher-income foodies. Studies revealed that this demographic of higher-income foodies were not likely to use quick-service restaurants at all.
“Taco Bell is Mexican inspired. U.S. Taco is American inspired,” said Greg Creed, Taco Bell’s chief executive, who is largely credited with piloting a dramatic turnaround for the quick-service chain over the past two years.
