Even major players have to keep up with developing new themes and creative menu selections to keep customers coming through their doors.

I can’t say enough about how important it is to stand out from the competition!

Rather than going with an authentic Mexican theme, their launching a new upscale taco chain that will tap into regional American flavor.

Doesn’t make sense to spend millions trying to lure the usual quick service or drive through Taco Bell customers they have that demographic covered.

They decided to design a new concept that would appeal to a demographic, which includes an eclectic mix of generally higher-income foodies. Studies revealed that this demographic of higher-income foodies were not likely to use quick-service restaurants at all.

“Taco Bell is Mexican inspired. U.S. Taco is American inspired,” said Greg Creed, Taco Bell’s chief executive, who is largely credited with piloting a dramatic turnaround for the quick-service chain over the past two years.
