Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, has announced their newly renovated shopping center with addition of DIG which stands for Dig In Gulf, a family-friendly, café style eatery.
Opening in March, the menu will offer breakfast, lunch and an early dinner. The menu will consist of fresh salads, sandwiches and protein entrees.
The owners are a local culinary tag team couple, Brian and Monique Murphy.
They’re not stopping with just a restaurant, along with delicious menu items, the restaurant will offer cooking lessons and a healthy selection of gourmet “Grab and Go” meals. BUT WAIT there’s more, parents will enjoy the convenience of a play area for small children within the restaurant.
Chef Brian’s resume is sealed solid with 20 years at Emeril’s Restaurant before going to Fish Out of Water as executive chef at Watercolor Inn & Resort for eight years.
His wife Monique’s resume includes culinary experience with Emeril’s Restaurants and Walt Disney World Resort.
They have lived in the Sandestin area for 8 years and believe this is the perfect place to raise their children and their new bundle of joy
