Frankie’s Patriotic BBQ is named in honor and in Loving Memory of CPL Frank R. Gross – KIA 16 July 2011
Clearly Many People Dream of Owning a Restaurant!
Having that dream come true is overwhelming but when that dream allows us to feel that our loved ones are still with us, that’s far from a DREAM…
Owning a restaurant is a great way to honor a loved one and can be a life rewarding and healing process for those that are left behind. What better way to serve the public, feeding and nourishing a community.
Frankie’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Gross are eager to say that their restaurant is in honor of ALL Servicemen and Women, those who have given their lives and those who have fought and are currently protecting our country.
Welcome to Frankie’s Patriot BBQ!
THE OPENING CELEBRATION was on September 28, 2013
The evolution of barbecue from its origins among Native Americans to its present status is an icon of American culture. The origins of American barbecue date back to colonial times.
In fact, the first recorded of such style of cooking dates back to our first president and patriot George Washington were he mentions attending a “barbicue” in Alexandria, VA in 1769.
I have no doubt that Frankie would be proud of his parents and the success of their business and how they are giving their heart and soul to making people happy and watching their dream of owning a restaurant come to be.
